Today is my last day in Belarus. After publishing this blog post, I’ll cram all my belongings to my backpack once again and head to the Brest railway station. A few hours later, I’ll arrive to Warsaw, Poland.

Klaipeda, the Curonian Spit and Why CouchSurfing Can Be So Useful

The coastline around Klaipeda is filled with cargo ships for as far as the eye can see.

I was not originally planning to go to Klaipeda, the Baltic Sea port of Lithuania. However, a member of the CouchSurfing community sent me a message after seeing my travel plans in the website and recommended that I should definitely go there. And she was right.
